The three biggest wedding trends for 2019

The three biggest wedding trends for 2019

Are you getting married this year? Then you’ve probably started the planning. Who is wearing what and what colours and decoration will you use? These are all questions you have to think about. But don’t worry! Meisjesfeest has lined up the three biggest wedding trends for 2019 for you.

Simple and minimalistic

The whole world was inspired by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding. The gorgeous, but minimalistic wedding dress that Meghan wore was an immediate trendsetter. Everywhere - from the catwalk to blogs - brides are increasingly wearing simple wedding dresses. This minimalistic approach ensures that the blushing bride is the main event of the wedding!

Bridesmaid dresses are also getting more minimalistic. Are you getting married in a simple wedding dress and want your bridesmaids to match? Check out this Satin bridesmaid dress by Happy Girls!

More than white

You are probably familiar with the typical white wedding. Everything - from the dress to plates and cups - is a traditional white. However, in 2019 brides are trying something different! Increasingly, we see that white colours are complimented by different shades of pink, orange or even blue and green! Invitations, bouquets and decoration have more and more colour in it.

Of course, bridesmaids dress are no exemption. Our light pink Creamy dress with sequins or mint dress from LoFff will be all the rage at your wedding!

Floral

Can a wedding be called a wedding without any flowers? We don’t think so. That’s why, in 2019, we will see a lot of floral themes at weddings. From the bouquet and accessoires to (table) decoration: there will be an abundance of flowers this year!

Bridesmaids will also be decked out in flowers. Whether it’s a simple floral headband or a pretty dress from Kate Mack & Biscotti, your bridesmaids should look like they just left a spring festival.
